Bengali Authentic Thali 

A Bengali Thali represents Bengali food in our culture. Bengali cuisine is a great enjoyment that delights our senses with its unique mix of flavors, aromas, and textures. The best ways to experience this feeling is through getting an authentic thali, a traditional Indian platter that provides a small portion of variety dishes which is  served uniformly.

When it comes to a Bengali thali, the focus is on Fish, meat, and rice, sweets, which are staples of the Bengali diet.

In this blog, we explore the newly opened Bhuter Raja Dilo Bor restaurant in Durgapur, which draws inspiration from the Bengali movie "Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen" directed by Satyajit Ray. The restaurant's ambiance represents the authentic Bengali culture and is a must-visit place for foodies who love to explore new food experiences.



We try the Bagha Thali, which costs 679rs, and we must say that the food was just awesome and very tasty. The thali included a lot of Bengali delicacies like rice, fish, mutton, rosogolla, chutney, dal, and payesh. Each item was cooked to perfection and had a unique taste that left our taste buds craving for more.

The special Mutton Kosha at Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor restaurant is incredibly famous in West Bengal. It is known for its mouthwatering taste and is a favorite among locals. If I were to choose my favorite dish from the thali, it would definitely be the flavorful and delicious Mutton Kosha.
